Anodizing

Anodizing Application Details

Anodizing: the process of oxidation of aluminium by electrolytic method. The purpose of the coating is to increase the corrosion resistance of aluminium and to add both aesthetic and functional values to it. Paint adhesion and light fastness for anodizing are made according to customer requirements.

Anodizing is an electrochemical process in which aluminium is coated with a protective film of aluminium oxide (Al2O3) 5 to 25 microns deep in the case of a protective anodization and up to 100 microns in the case of hard anodization.

The anodized coating provides the profile with excellent protection, especially against moisture and dust. It also increases its durability and resistance to wear, tear and corrosion and provides an aesthetic finish in an unlimited number of colors.
