Environmental Policy

As ASEN ALUMINUM, we see protecting the environment, ensuring the sustainable use of natural resources and combating climate change as part of our corporate responsibility in all our activities.

Accordingly, in accordance with the requirements of the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System Standard and the principles of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), our environmental policy is as follows:

• To prevent air, water and soil pollution that may arise from our activities, to reduce waste generation at the source, to expand recycling and recycling practices,
• To increase energy efficiency by encouraging the use of environmentally friendly technologies and renewable energy sources and to adopt a carbon-neutral production approach in order to achieve the goals set for Environmental Management Systems,
• To follow our performance with measurable targets and to ensure continuous improvement by taking the necessary measures to reduce the environmental impacts of raw materials and auxiliaries,
• To continuously improve our environmental performance by ensuring efficient and responsible use of resources, to spread the environmentally friendly production culture throughout the organization,
• To reduce the consumption of energy, water, raw materials and chemicals by using clean production techniques; To give priority to the protection of natural resources,
• To improve the environmental awareness of our employees, to create a participatory and sustainable environmental management culture and to encourage initiatives that will contribute to environmental performance,
• To support sustainable value chain management by guiding our business partners in our supply chain in line with environmental responsibility principles,
• To adopt preventive approaches to protect ecosystems, maintain biodiversity and prevent land degradation, to develop practices to protect natural habitats,
• To ensure full compliance with all environmental legislation, national and international legal regulations, other obligations and environmental management system requirements, to continuously review and improve the effectiveness of the system.
