Occupational Health and Safety Policy

As ASEN ALUMINUM, we see occupational health and safety, employee welfare and sustainable production as inseparable elements. We consider it our fundamental responsibility to protect the health and safety of our employees, subcontractors, visitors and related parties in all our activities, and to create a safe and healthy working environment with a culture of continuous improvement.

Accordingly, in accordance with the requirements of ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System Standard and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), our OHS Policy:

• To eliminate hazards and reduce OHS risks in all our processes with a risk-based thinking approach by fulfilling the requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System,
• To fully comply with the applicable national occupational health and safety legislation, national and international legal regulations, other obligations and the requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System, to continuously review and improve the effectiveness of the system,
• To develop occupational safety awareness by encouraging the participation of our employees and to create a strong OHS culture with consultation and participation mechanisms,
• To ensure the implementation of proactive approaches and preventive activities to prevent occupational accidents and diseases,
• To increase the awareness and competencies of employees with safe equipment, suitable working environment and continuous training and awareness activities,
• To ensure that safe working conditions are maintained in cooperation with our business partners in our supply chain,
• Within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals; To protect employee health, to provide decent working conditions and to integrate the responsible production approach into all our processes,
• We aim to develop a behavior-based safety culture by considering the physical and mental safety of our employees.
